Long term, low cost versatility and easy maintenance is an alternative versus on-going year to year painting, staining, and uncontrollable fading that happens continuously on new and used homes.

Vinyl

An affordable option would be vinyl siding. Vinyl won’t rot, or peel, and should last for 40 years or more. This PVC product is easy to clean with a light household cleaner and a garden hose. Vinyl comes in many colors never needs to be painted.

Fiber cement

JamesHardie Cement board siding is another popular option that can simulate most woods. It’s made from cement, sand, and wood fiber additives. Like vinyl, it won’t crack or split and with proper applications, it is impervious to water and insects. Cement board siding is a non combustible material, therefore is recognized by most home insurance companies. JamesHardie offers many different colors from their Color Plus Program, and offers up to 2 years on their product warranty.

LP Smart Side

LP Smart siding is a traditionally looking siding with an optional wider exposures and wood grain embossed textures. This product is moisture protected with zinc borate, MDI resins, and marine waxes for a water resistant panel. LP lap siding comes in unlimited custom colors and is offered in 12’ and 16’ lengths which in turn has less seams on long walls.

LP Smart Side can be painted at any time to give you that fresh new look.

Vinyl PVC Trim

This cellular PVC trim looks, cuts, and fastens like wood. Unlike wood, it is impervious to water and won’t fall victim to insects and woodpeckers. Multiple applications of the PVC trimmings are being used as trim boards, decorations, decks, railings and band boards.
